Images & description
The AH-64 Apache is an American attack helicopter with a tandem cockpit for a crew of two.The helicopter was introduced to U.S. Army service in April 1986. The first production AH-64D Apache Longbow, an upgraded Apache variant, was delivered to the Army in March 1997. The AH-64D is equipped with a glass cockpit and advanced sensors, the most noticeable the Longbow radar, housed in a dome located above the main rotor.
I built this microscale model the smallest size as possible, trying to keep the characteristic details.
Model dimensions:
- body length: 16 studs ( 12.8 cm / 5 in )
- body width: 7 studs ( 5.6 cm / 2.2 in )
